Inpute are delighted to release our latest case study carried out in conjunction with the Central Statistics Office.
The Central Statistics Office’s mandate is “The collection, compilation, extraction and dissemination for statistical purposes of information relating to economic, social and general activities and conditions in the State”. The CSO is also responsible for coordinating the official statistics of other public authorities and for developing the statistical potential of administrative records.
To assist the CSO in completing The Household Budget Survey, Inpute was tasked with devising a system which would automate and streamline the processing of 100,000 pieces of highly varied, unformatted data and deliver substantial cost and resource savings.
John O’Reilly, from the CSO, was doubtful a solution could be found however we demonstrated how the technology might work and following a competitive tendering process, we were selected as the preferred solution provider.
